Afghanistan: Taliban murder 170 people in 17 attacks on mosques and gurudwaras since last October

Jihadi attacks on mosques are often invoked by mainstream counterterror analysts and Islamic apologists (if there is a difference there) as evidence that the jihadis are themselves un-Islamic. Actually, jihadis attack mosques because they consider the people in them to be insufficiently Islamic, or to be heretics or apostates in some way.
“Afghanistan- 442 killed, injured in 17 attacks on worship places,” MEMAFN, July 18, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
KABUL: The Independent Human Rights Commission says that 17 armed attacks were carried out against mosques, gurudwaras and other worship places as well as prayer leaders and other worshippers since last October.
It said that 170 people were killed in these attacks, while 272 more were wounded.
The commission said Saturday in a report that five prayer leaders and 14 children were among the dead and 22 more children were injured.
In an attack claimed by the Daesh terrorist group on a mosque in Nangarhar province, 64 civilians were killed and 34 including five children wounded in October 2019.
According to the report, another attack this time on a Sikh worship place (gurudwara) in old part of Kabul city, 25 worshippers including women and children were killed and 12 injured. The gurudwara attack was also carried out by Daesh.
A mullah was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kabul’s PD 6 in the holy month of Ramadan, the report says….

Biden quotes “Prophet Muhammad”:

“Whomever among you sees a wrong, let him change it with his hand”

The hadith Biden is quoting is this one: “On the authority of Abu Sa`eed al-Khudree (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, ‘Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.'” (Nawawi 34)
Anyway, note Biden’s reference to “the Prophet Muhammad.” It’s standard journalistic practice today to assume that everyone is a Muslim and believes Muhammad is a prophet, so Biden is just following along with the crowd and pandering to his constituency, but it’s still a manifestation of Islamic supremacism. Biden’s handlers would never, ever give him a statement that referred to “our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” But Islam is the Left’s preferred religion, and Islamopandering is the order of the day, so Biden refers without hesitation to “the prophet.”
As long as he is quoting hadith, when will Biden get around to this one? A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them. (Sahih Muslim 4294)
“Biden quotes Prophet Muhammad’s hadith, wishes US schools taught about Islam,” Yeni Şafak, July 21, 2020 (thanks to Darcy):
Former American Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has vowed to address the needs and concerns of Muslim-American communities in the U.S. once he becomes president during an online summit hosted by the organization “Emgage Action.”
Biden’s remarks came on Monday after several prominent Muslim-American leaders endorsed him for president.
Praising Islam as “one of the great confessional faiths,” Biden told attendees of the Million Muslim Votes that he wished U.S. schools taught more about Islam.
“One of the things I think is important, I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith,” he said, blaming President Trump for “fanning the flames of hate.”
“A hadith from the Prophet Muhammad instructs, ‘Whomever among you sees a wrong, let him change it with his hand,’” Biden quoted. “‘If he is not able, then with his tongue. If he is not able, then with his heart.’”
The 77-year-old leader vowed to repeal the Trump administration’s three-year-old travel ban that primarily target Muslim-majority countries, in what he described as “vile.”
“If I have the honor of being president, I will end the Muslim ban on day one, day one,” he pledged….
“Muslim communities were the first to feel Donald Trump’s assault on Black and brown communities in this country with his vile Muslim ban,” Biden added.
Denouncing Trump’s treatment of religious minorities, Biden promised to appoint Muslim personnel in his would-be administration and work with Congress to pass stalled hate crime legislations if elected to the Oval Office in November….

Sarsour on Biden:

“I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable”

That’s a decidedly tepid endorsement. But it makes it clear that Sarsour and the Islamic and Leftist organizations in the U.S. that support the “Palestinian” jihad (and the jihad elsewhere) will be keeping President Biden on a tight leash. If he doesn’t jump to do their bidding, they’ll turn on him, not with the fury with which they hate and wish to destroy Trump, but certainly they will have no sense of loyalty or trust, and not let him make him one misstep. This means that Biden in the White House will essentially be their tool.
“‘Nation’s Largest’ Muslim PAC Embraces Biden, But Activist Sarsour’s Endorsement is Tepid,” by Patrick Goodenough, CNS News, July 21, 2020:
(CNSNews.com) – Thanking a Muslim American PAC for supporting his presidential bid, Joe Biden said Monday he wished U.S. schools taught more about Islam, and pledged to scrap, on his first day in office, what he called President Trump’s “vile Muslim ban.”
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee gave a virtual address to Emgage Action, three months after “the nation’s largest Muslim American political action committee” endorsed him, following the decision by its first choice candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders, to end his campaign.
Some high-profile Sanders supporters in the Muslim community have not been enthusiastic about moving their support to Biden, as seen in a series of tweets later Monday by Palestinian American activist Linda Sarsour, a controversial former co-leader of the Women’s March.
“I choose Biden,” Sarsour said. “But I choose him as my opponent in the White House. I want him to defeat Trump so we can mobilize our movements to hold him accountable and push him to do and be better. We can’t do that with Trump.”
Sarsour said most of “our people” backed Sanders in the primary “because he earned our votes & we need Biden to continue to do the same.”
She recalled that Sanders had addressed “the plight of the Palestinian people,” and had “vehemently criticized the Netanyahu Government, opposed the moving of the embassy [to Jerusalem], called for an end to occupation, a conditioning of military aid, etc.”
‘One of my avocations is theology’
Addressing the Emgage Action event earlier in the day, Biden began on a theological note.
“Look, one of the things that I think is important is I wish – I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith,” he said. “I wish we talked about all the great confessional faiths. It [Islam] is one of the great confessional faiths.”
“And what people don’t realize – as one of my avocations is theology – don’t realize is we all come from the same root here, in terms of our fundamental basic beliefs.”
He thanked the PAC for endorsing him, noted it has launched a campaign aimed at boosting the Muslim vote, and made his case for why Muslims should support him over Trump in November.
“Muslim communities were the first to feel Donald Trump’s assault on black and brown communities in this country with his vile Muslim ban,” he said, vowing to undo the move “on day one,” should he become president….
Biden, who spoke for a little over ten minutes, accused Trump of “fanning the flames of hate,” through his words, deeds, policies and appointments, and charged that there has been “an unconscionable rise in Islamicphobia [sic]” under his administration….
“I won’t fail to speak out against the abuses of human rights including targeting for violence and prosecution Muslim minorities around the world,” he said, citing Uighurs in China and Rohingya in Burma.
Biden said he would work with partners “to meet the moral demands of the humanitarian crises in Syria, Yemen, and Gaza,” and would “continue to champion the rights of Palestinians and Israelis to have a state of their own, as I have for decades.”…
Sarsour, an ardent BDS supporter, took part in Monday’s Emgage Action video event, where she spoke about the importance of holding a President Biden accountable after the election.
“When Joe Biden does the right thing, you better believe Linda Sarsour’s going to say, ‘You know what? Thank you so much President Joe Biden for doing the right thing.’ And when President Joe Biden doesn’t do the right thing our community needs to come together and hold him accountable.”…

Arab Town to Rename Street After Israeli Hero Who Died Saving Arab Mother and 3 Kids

After real-life superhero Michael Ben Zikri perished saving the lives of a Bedouin mother and her three children, an Arab politician vowed to name the main street in their town in his memory.
By United With Israel Staff
At the beginning of July, a 45-year-old Israeli man named Michael Ben Zikri died after rescuing a Bedouin mother and her three children from drowning in a lake where people were enjoying their weekend.
Hundreds of Jews and Arabs alike attended the Ashdod resident’s funeral, with one of the Bedouin family’s relatives telling a local TV channel, “Today it’s hard to find a hero like this.”
Scores of Bedouins from the town of Hura held posters at the funeral with slogans praising Ben Zikri’s heroism and thanking him for saving the family.
A former Arab Knesset member told Ben Zikri’s family that the entire community shared in their grief and vowed to “rename the main street in our town in his honor.”
Following the funeral, the Israeli Foreign Ministry shared the story on its social media accounts in Arabic and Persian, garnering praise from people across the Muslim world.
“The fact we have political differences with you guys doesn’t mean there is a disagreement between us about humanitarianism,” said a commenter from Egypyt, the Lay of the Land website reported.
Another commented from Iraq wrote, “This is the people of Israel who love all and help all,” while the UK-based Saudi news outlet Asharq Al-Awsat published an account of the Bedouins who paid condolence visits to Ben Zikri’s family.
According to the Foreign Ministry’s Arabic social media manager, Yonatan Gonen, “Users from Morocco to Iraq, from Oman to Syria, could identify with the story and unanimously pointed at Michael’s heroism on a very large scale, some even pointed to Israel’s coexistence as a role model.”
Ben Zikri took action when the Bedouin family got sucked under the water due to a sinkhole opening up in the man-made lake near Zikim beach outside of Ashkelon, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Tel Aviv.
Ben Zikri rescued the mother, two girls, aged 14 and 7, and their 10-year-old brother.
The exhausted Ben Zikri apparently slipped under the water himself and his body was found later by Magen David Adom rescue workers, but it was too late and he could not be revived.
Israel’s president Reuven Rivlin paid tribute to Ben Zikri and announced that his office is creating a new civilian award for citizens who inspire others in society through their heroic actions.
“I have decided to award, for the first time, a special commendation to Michael Ben Zikri, of blessed memory, whose actions set an example of outstanding civic action,” tweeted Rivlin, who invited both families to his residence at the end of the mourning period.

Secret Weapon: Israel Honors Top Cyber Spy Shrouded in Mystery

Agent only identified as ‘A’ is the recipient of the highest lifetime achievement award for defending the country, but all the details are classified.
By Yakir Benzion, United With Israel
Israel’s top defense award was given recently to a Mossad agent described as “genius” who chose to work in secret behind the scenes for Israel’s defense rather than take a lucrative job in high tech, Channel 12 reported.
But who is the secret agent who can only be identified as “A”?
An acquaintance who knows A says that “he is recognized in our intelligence community and by the Americans as a real phenomenon in the cyber field” who is grooming a generation of students under him.
They also say the 40-year-old father is a real character and a unique figure at the Mossad, Israel’s equivalent of the CIA, who chose to work for the secret intelligence organization over a career in the private sector.
The decision to award the lifetime achievement award reads, among other things: “Contribution to state security while demonstrating extraordinary talent.”
The Channel 12 report talked about the recent “very intrusive operation into the heart of a major enemy of Israel” whose secrecy as a counter-terrorism operation means that the release of any detail could compromise the country’s security.
However, the contribution of the operation to Israel’s defense was deemed “extraordinary” and “a unique contribution to Israel’s security.”
Only 40, A is receiving the award “for a long-standing contribution to national security and for initiating many technological solutions, while demonstrating exceptional talent, creativity, curiosity and daring.”
Along with A, three outstanding projects are being recognized for the Israel Security Award that are different joint efforts involving the Mossad, the IDF, the Ministry of Defense, private defense contractors and the Shabak General Security Service – Israel’s equivalent of the FBI.
No details of the three projects could be revealed, other than who were the participating agencies that revealed that one of the project had something to do with the Israel Air Force.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz called the winners to tell them of their achievement, saying he was proud of Israel’s human capital that spans the different organizations.
Those organizations “prove time and time again that we have and will have no borders in the war on Israel’s security,” Gantz said. ” Thanks to their talent, dedication and dedication to the task, the security of the citizens of Israel is guaranteed, and we possess groundbreaking capabilities – in every dimension, and everywhere.”

The Hamas-Houthi alliance also shows that Iran is seeking to expand the terrorist activities of its agents in the Gaza Strip, Yemen and Lebanon not only against Israel and the US, but against Arab and Islamic states as well.

Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip, is seeking to forge an alliance with the Iran-aligned Yemini Houthi movement, officially called Ansar Allah (Supporters of God), whose members have launched repeated missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia for the past few years.
The Hamas-Houthi partnership does not come as a surprise to Arabs and Muslims. The two groups share a common goal: Eliminating Israel.
These Arabs and Muslims are worried, however, that the Hamas-Houthi alliance will not stop there, but also strengthen an Iran-led axis to threaten the stability of Arab countries.
The slogan of the Houthi movement reads: “Allah is greater, Death to America, Death to Israel, curse on the Jews, Victory to Islam.”
In its charter, Hamas states that the “land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day” and “there is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad [holy war].”
Last week, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh sent a letter to the Houthi leadership in which he thanked the Yemeni group for supporting the Palestinian people and their cause:
“We appreciate the role of the Yemenis in supporting the Palestinian cause and urge the free people of the world to stand against the Zionist entity’s (Israel’s) escalation against the Palestinian people.”
Before sending the letter to the Houthi leadership, Haniyeh called on Arabs and Muslims “to build a strategic partnership with the Palestinian people and their national and Islamic factions in order to confront Israeli schemes.”

‘A Solid Arab and Islamic Bloc’

This strategy, Haniyeh explained, is based on three main and important tracks:
“The first is Palestinian unity, the second is comprehensive resistance in all its forms, and the third is building in the region a solid Arab and Islamic bloc that supports the Palestinians.”
When Hamas talks about a “comprehensive resistance,” it is referring to the use of various anti-Israel terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings and rockets.
Haniyeh’s letter to the Houthi leadership is clearly part of Hamas’s effort to enlist the Yemeni group for attacks on Israel.
Hamas seems to be hoping that its alliance with the Houthi movement might stop some Arab countries from normalizing their relations with Israel.
Hamas’s leaders have repeatedly expressed deep concern over the apparent rapprochement between some Gulf states and Israel. Recently, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem accused the United Arab Emirates of “promoting and encouraging” normalization with Israel and claimed that such efforts would “only serve the Zionist project.”
Some Arabs are now voicing extreme unease over the cooperation between Hamas and the Houthi movement. They say it would strengthen Iran’s terrorist proxies and cause a further deterioration of the situation in war-torn Yemen.
For more than five years, Yemen, the southern region of the Arabian Peninsula, has been embroiled in a civil war that has resulted in one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world; 80% of the population are in need of humanitarian aid. Since 2015, an Arab coalition led by the Saudi Arabia has carried out military operations in Yemen, in support of government forces against the Houthi militias, who control large parts of Yemen. Iran, using the Houthis as proxies, has been trying to take over control of Yemen in the same way that Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, now controls Lebanon. The Saudis have been trying to defend themselves against Iran’s attempts to expand its control into Yemen and from there throughout the entire Peninsula.
According to the Yemen-based Al-Mashhad Al-Araby news website (July 13, 2020):
“Many analysts were not surprised [by the Hamas letter to the Houthi movement], which confirms that there are regional parties working on rapprochement between Islamist groups, including the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization and the militias supported by Iran in the Arab region headed by the terrorist Houthi militia and Hezbollah in Lebanon, in addition to Shiite militias in Iraq.
Even some Palestinians have expressed concern over the Hamas-Houthi alliance. They argue that Hamas should not be meddling in the internal affairs of any Arab country in order to appease Hamas’s master in Tehran. Mainly, some Palestinians seem worried that the emerging alliance would further damage Palestinian relations with the Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, where the public appears to be largely indifferent to the Palestinian issue.
“Haniyeh’s message to the Houthis is wrong,” prominent Palestinian political analyst Yasser Al-Za’atara commented.
“The Houthis are criminals and those who support them are causing harm to themselves and the Yemeni people. This shows that Iran is now demanding a direct price for its support [for Hamas]. Hamas is forced to pay the price because Tehran is facing a deep crisis [as a result of US and international sanctions]. Hamas, in turn, is in urgent need of support as the Arab siege against it is intensifying.”
The “price” Iran is demanding for its financial and military aid is that Hamas remain a loyal proxy and carry out all instructions it receives from Tehran, including meddling in the internal affairs of Arab states and launching terrorist attacks against Israel.
Shortly after receiving the letter from Haniyeh, Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim, the Houthi movement’s head of the so-called “intelligence and reconnaissance agency,” announced that it “has vital and important targets in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Tel Aviv, based on intelligence information” that would be used to attack those three countries.
For the first time, the Houthi movement spoke of possessing information about “vital targets.” The announcement is a clear indication that the two Iranian-backed groups, Hamas and the Houthi movement, are planning to launch terrorist attacks not only against Israel, but also against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The Houthi movement is saying that it will do its utmost to help Hamas destroy Israel.
“We in Ansar Allah are with you until the liberation of every inch of the land of Palestine,” said Hassan al-Hamran, head of the Houthi movement’s “Palestinian Portfolio” said during a July 16 meeting in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a with representatives of several Palestinian factions, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
The meeting was held to discuss ways of preventing Israel from applying its sovereignty to parts of the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and of thwarting attempts by some Arabs to engage in normalization activities with Israel.

“Hamas Apparently Lost its Mind’

Some Saudi and Emirati political activists and columnists also believe that the Hamas-Houthi cooperation will further destabilize the security situation in the Middle East.
Yaqoub al-Rayssi, a political activist in the United Arab Emirates, commented:
“Hamas is thanking the Houthis for supporting Palestine! For the Muslim Brotherhood traitors [Hamas], supporting Palestine means firing missiles at Saudi Arabia.”
“Hamas has apparently lost its mind by sending a message to the Houthis thanking them for their support for the Palestinian cause,” Mohammed al-Abdah, a Syrian-born member of the Muslim Scholars Association, wrote on his Twitter account. “The Houthis have destroyed an ancient Arab country; do they deserve to be thanked?
Several Yemeni political activists also denounced the Hamas-Houthi alliance.
“Ismail Haniyeh’s letter to the Houthi leadership is a painful blow to the Yemeni people, who for decades have been supporting the Palestinians’ cause,” lamented Yemeni activist Mohammed Al-Dhabyani.
Prominent Lebanese political analyst and journalist Khairallah Khairallah launched a scathing attack on Hamas, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, and said it does not really care about the Palestinians.
“The (Muslim) Brotherhood does not care about the consequences of its actions and practices,” Khairallah wrote.
“All they want is power. This is evidenced by the extent of the damage that has been caused to the Palestinian cause since the establishment of Hamas in 1987. On the way to seizing control over the Gaza Strip [in 2007], Hamas eliminated the Palestinian national project.”
He also accused Hamas of “perpetuating” divisions among the Palestinians and exposing the Palestinians’ inability to “manage a state in a civilized way.” Khairallah pointed out that when Hamas violently and brutally seized control of the Gaza Strip, its men “threw members of Fatah from the roofs of buildings.”
“Hamas is doing everything it can to perpetuate the internal division and keep Gaza a prison for its people. The Palestinians deserve much better than Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. What is the use of launching rockets toward Israel after its withdrawal from the Gaza Strip in August 2005?”
By seeking to enlist the Houthi movement for its jihad against Israel, Hamas is sending a message that it is prepared to cooperate with any group to achieve its goal of destroying Israel and replacing it with an Islamic state.
The Hamas-Houthi alliance also shows that Iran is seeking to expand the terrorist activities of its agents in the Gaza Strip, Yemen and Lebanon not only against Israel and the US, but against Arab and Islamic states as well.
