She was deeply involved in the rescue of the Czech Jew Walter Posiles and his brothers Hans and Ludwig shortly before they were deported to the concentration camp Theresienstadt.
Walter Posiles and the Viennese woman Edeltrud Becher had been reported because of miscegenation. Because of her connections to a member of the Vienna police, Friedericke Buchegger was able to obtain the destruction of the incriminating record. Nevertheless, the brothers had to stay underground.
In 1942, Friedericke took Walter's brother Ludwig in and hid him. In August 1942, Walter suffered greatly from pneumonia and pleurisy. Friedericke found the medical practitioner Dr. Ernst Pick, who was inclined to treat the critically ill Walter without sending him to hospital.

Jan Zwartendijk (29 July 1896 – 14 September 1976) was a Dutch businessman and diplomat. As director of the Philips plants in Lithuania and part-time acting consul of the Dutch government-in-exile, he supervised the writing of 2,345 visas for Curaçao to save Jews from the Holocaust during World War II. In 1997, Yad Vashem recognised him as Righteous Among the Nations.

Rudolf Stefan Jan Weigl (2 September 1883 – 11 August 1957) was a Polish biologist, physician and inventor, known for creating the first effective vaccine against epidemic typhus. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine each year between 1930 and 1934, and from 1936 to 1939.
Weigl worked during the Holocaust to save the lives of countless Jews by developing the vaccine for typhus and providing shelter to protect those suffering under the Nazis in occupied Poland.For his contributions, he was named a Righteous Among the Nations in 2003.

Cornelia Arnolda Johanna "Corrie" ten Boom (15 April 1892– 15 April 1983) was a Dutch Christian watchmaker and later a writer who worked with her father, Casper ten Boom, her sister Betsie ten Boom and other family members to help many Jewish people escape from the Nazis during the Holocaust in World War II by hiding them in her home. She believed her actions were following the will of God. They were caught, and she was arrested and sent to the Ravensbrück concentration camp.

Casper Ten Boom (18 May 1859 – 9 March 1944) was a Dutch Christian who helped many Jews and resisters escape the Nazis during the Holocaust of World War II. He is the father of Betsie and Corrie ten Boom, who also aided the Jews and were sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where Betsie died. Casper died 9 March 1944 in The Hague, after nine days of imprisonment in the Scheveningen Prison. In 2008, he was recognized as Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem.
