This week’s Torah portion is “Vayigash” (Genesis 44:18–47:27) and in it we read about Jacob’s descent to Egypt along with his entire family.
This was the first – but not the last – exile of the entire Jewish nation.
Join Rabbi Ari Enkin on a journey through the different exiles Jews have endured, learn what it means to be a Jew in exile, and most importantly, the secret to Jewish continuity in the face of persecution.
We must always remember that no matter where the Jews may have lived, there’s no place like home – Israel!
