Palestinian security forces transferred a group of Arabs to Israeli authorities who are suspected of participating in a shootout over the weekend.
Four Arabs were “arrested over the weekend in connection to a shootout in east Jerusalem that left three Palestinian residents dead, and another eight wounded,” i24 News reported. The suspects are relatives of the victims.
Palestinian Authority-controlled areas and Arab communities in Israel are plagued by crime, leading to security coordination between PA forces and Israeli law enforcement that rarely gets coverage outside Israel.
The violence unfortunately spills over and is devastating innocent community members who seek to live in peace, which is why Israeli authorities are helping catch and prosecute these criminals.
