LIBIUSA

Dear Friend,

Day in, and day out, IDF soldiers are always ready. Whatever challenge arises, IDF soldiers are always prepared and ready to act and protect within seconds. This week there were multiple instances where our IDF soldiers took immediate action in an effort to defend and protect the citizens of Israel.

Ukrainian-speaking and Russian-speaking soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces will assist new olim from Ukraine and Russia throughout their absorption process, according to a joint statement on Monday by Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Immigration Minister Pnina Tamano-Shata.

Air raid sirens sounded in Mostyska, Ukraine, shortly after the new Israeli "Kohav Meir" (Shining Star) field hospital completed its opening ceremony in the city on Tuesday. 50 patients were treated at the hospital on its first day, including three patients who needed to be hospitalized.

LIBI is always at the forefront of ensuring that each soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces is appropriately cared for and equipped for whatever challenges they may face. Whether supporting our soldiers in training, or active service, LIBI is proud to stand behind Israel’s brave soldiers. We would not be able to do this without your invaluable support.

Thank you,

The assistance program is the result of a combined effort by the ministers of defense and immigration.
